1. Purpose
Eurica Tutoring is committed to promoting the safety and well-being of all students, especially minors and vulnerable individuals. This Safeguarding Procedure document outlines the steps that Eurica Tutoring and its tutors must take to ensure the protection of students from harm, abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

5. Tutor Responsibilities

5.2. Conduct with Students

Unnecessary one-on-one private interactions in non-professional environments.

Tutors must ensure that all online tutoring sessions take place via secure and appropriate platforms. If using a video conferencing tool, tutors must ensure the environment is conducive to learning, safe, and visible to others if necessary.
5.3. Reporting Concerns

If a tutor suspects that a student is at risk of harm or abuse, they must report their concerns immediately to Eurica Tutoring’s designated safeguarding lead (see Section 7).

Concerns should be raised if a student discloses any form of abuse, shows signs of neglect or harm, or if any behaviour by a student or other individual causes concern.
6. Reporting and Escalation Procedures
6.1. Immediate Reporting

Any safeguarding concerns must be reported directly to the designated safeguarding lead at Eurica Tutoring (see contact details below).

Tutors must document all relevant information, including the nature of the concern, any evidence, and communications with the student or others involved.
6.2. Response
